I suspect that my attendance will be weather related. The possibility of coming across something on my currently near blank "need" list is remote and herd thinning has been my recent focus. Or if I am tempted to impulse the goods are so outrageously priced that walking on presents no problem. Tho last year I did get a couple things for my brother's 45-70 toys. Otherwise for the last couple years the buffet at the Peppermill was the only thing that saved the trip hahaha

Thank you guys for a decent "discussion" that only briefly went south. The 88 arrived and I could not be more pleased. A flat mint 1959 still with buttplate, folding sight and front hood.
I put a red field mount and a leupold 6x on it and am working up a load with 200 gr spitzers. I suspect it will knock down VA whitetails with no noticeable difference from a .358 ( of course it will wink .)
I am going to give it to my dad for the season; I think he will enjoy one like his Dad's.
