I wonder why the heck someone would have done something like that to the stock.
From a value standpoint, you have to assess the money into the gun, cost of repair/replacement and value after.

Will be up on Gunbroker within a few hours. Pictures loading to Photobucket as I type this.

If I didn't own 20 single barrel traps, I would bid on this one. What condition!

Trap shooters sure know how to mess up a beautiful thing! It's what they do. Mike, the time/$ thing can be just about zero on both. The runny kinda acraglas loaded, and I mean loaded, with walnut dust would fill that thing way easy. And do nothing neg to the value compared to what it is now. So wazahaps anyway? have another day Dr.WtS

There's pics of it and an excellent description included along with a good return policy. He's bending over backwards to inform people.

Exactly Ted. Acraglas mixed with walnut sawdust becomes very dark in color, and would stick out just as badly as the present "modification". Might as well use Bondo and paint.
It would be interesting to see what someone who is skilled in doing butt transplants could do with this gun. About 95% of the joint could be concealed within the checkering pattern.
Voting for anti-gun Democrats is dumber than giving treats to a dog that shits on a Persian Rug
