Hopefully back to guns. I looked at this model 37 with 2 3/4 and 3" chambers and was a bit unsure of its value. It is a wild turkey federation gun from the year 2000. It has one screw in choke (modified) that threw me a bit since I have not seen choke tubes in a 37 in the past. I cannot quite recall but the barrel address was New York I think. 26" 12 gauge and felt heavy for a 37. If you can help:
What would you pay for it?
Do you think it came with choke tubes from the factory?
If so, where would I get more of them?
Pics to follow and thanks in advance to those who stick to the topic of guns.
The one from mid-80s from Ithaca NY took WinChoke/Browning Inv type current ones will take Inv. Plus chokes. You will have to look at thread pitch and try a few to find out. Ithaca 37 with 3" chamber, VR and choke tube system is worth a premium over old 2&3/4" fix choke ones. Something like that would set you back about $600 to $700 around here, but this is Wingmaster/1100 country. Different areas have different pricing schemes.
