Of all the single barrel repeaters I have ever shot or handled if I simply could not get a double & had to shoot one I would probably take an A5 & learn to live with its flopping around. To me "Personally" they have about the best feel & balance that is closer to a double than any other repeater I have handled or shot. The square back doesn't bother me a bit, in fact I kinda like it. I would have to dig back & look up specs on different guns but I think the square back allows for a slightly shorter overall length than most repeaters, which may be the reason for the different balance.
Most everyone I have know who used them extensively have liked them, but I just like them 2-Pipers.
