I use two 6' segments of anodized aluminum tubing connected with an inserted wooden handle from a Home Depot plumber's friend. The bottom tube sits on a stake made from a three foot length of 3/4" conduit flattened and pointed on the ground end. A loop of paracord is threaded through two holes drilled through the midsection of the stake. My booted foot fits through the loop to drive the stake into the usually plowed ground of the dove field. The Mojo fits into the other end without special attachments. It's lightweight and portable.
I don't have access to habitat that would justify a permanent mount, but Mike's looks great for the purpose intended. Height is important for not only visibility, but also for safety. The conventional lower mounting of the Mojo with the stake provided brings in birds for sure, but mostly low fliers. Gil
