Hello forum members.
Does Gunter Pfrommer do gunstock refinishing and checkering and also barrel work (chokes, re-blueing, bore polishing)?. I have used his services in the past, but they have been limited only to strip & clean and minor mechanical issues. Do you have experience with the above services performed by him? What is your opinion? I am thinking of having him restore my newly acquired Ed. Kettner 16 Ga hammer shotgun. BillK

Gunter is a fully trained, Ferlach graduated gunmaker. That means he's trained and fully capable of doing any task related to gun making. He can literally "do it all". I've had Gunter do a few jobs for me, all have been superb.

I've seen lots of Gunter's work over the years. I think he was heavily involved with Ithaca Classic doubles when they were being made. He can do it all from soup to nuts as they say. PS. You might enjoy reading this: http://24hourcampfire.com/grace.html

Agree with above posts. I have about a 2 inch file of invoices from him that have accumulated from the work he has done for me.

I have a Perazzi stock he made a number of years ago. He can do it all.

Thank you all for your replies. The gun was packaged and sent to Pfrommer this morning. I can't wait to see what he can do with it.
