Hmmm, which party was it that refused to give up Slavery and caused the Civil War? Which party refused to honor the Paris peace accords and support Vietnam when the North launched their 1975 offensive? Which party pulled out of Iraq for purely political purposes resulting in the creation of Isis and the division of Iraq along ethnic lines? True history is sometimes a brutal thing.
