The back ring base looks a bit flimsy, but considering it's affixed on light recoiling caliber I don't see why it would not hold a zero. Considering front setup the rear is just for show. PS. The "starting tag" looks like something you expect to see at Cabela's. You know, pulled out of magicians hat!
