John Can. Sidelock Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 527 Canada	I have seen a scope mounted in a similiar fashion on a custom 98 Mauser, using a similiar scope. The front mount used the dovetail of the rear sight, with a set screw to keep everything in place, a rather unique approach to save drilling holes in the receiver. --- John S.
