Hi, good info Mike, thanks! Anyway, I have a 16ga Hammergun that is marked Carl Goluch on the rib and the marking on both the bbl flats and watertable are 4269.31.
I'm assuming that the 42 is Franz Sodia and 69.31 the 69th gun proofed/made in 1931, correct?
Thanks!
Greg

Greg,
Not correct. 42 is not Franz Sodia. This is 4269th gun proofed in 1931, maker unknown. Carl Goluch was a well known gunsmith from Linz but I think only retailer.
With kind regards, Jani
