Made it here today. Great D-Grade!! First gun above C-Grade I've seen without ejectors. And, I've only seen one C-Grade. All the others have been CE- or CEO-Grades. Wish he'd have included a picture of the inside of the forearm. Many of the extractor Remington Hammerless Doubles I've see have a gutted ejector forearm iron and I wondered if that is the case with this D-Grade? The stock with no cheek checkering, no drop points and a silver initial oval leaves me wondering. In my experience, C-/CE-/CEO-grades had silver initial ovals and DE- and above had gold ovals. However, the Remington Arms Co. catalog text says silver name-plate for both C- and D-quality guns and gold for E-quality.
