I would say that having knowledge of all the H.A. Lindner offerings that wear the on-hand / Vorrat stamp of Crown over V may provide some a solid basis.

»Just a few note on Liege tube sourcing set up by Charles Daly. Ancion & Cie.(Alfred Ancion, Dieudonn� Ancion(father), Jules Ancion), Auguste Francotte, Renkin Fr�res, Pirlot Fr�res all combined to form Soci�t� des Anglais and by the time with which we are concerned, I'm sure some of the above were still picking up the pieces. Auguste Francotte is also a thread that binds or a staple when one considers @ the Daly-Suhl-Liege sourcing. At 1st, Daly was sourcing Dieudonn� Ancion / Soci�t� des Anglais for in the white wares and then Val. Chr. Schilling was bringing it to final form and passed thru the Lindner shop. Next, rough pattern welded tubes were forwarded to Schilling, possibly along w/ a Gesteck, and the whole lot was assembled and passed under H.A. Lindner's quality control eye & he applied his mark noting approval. An alternative was that all was shipped to Lindner & he dispersed it to his subcontractors, but I'm not sure here.«

I must start reading all the junk I post. Here I note Val. Chr. Schilling was doing the heavy lifting @ one stage in Lindner-Daly Production.

Then Heinrich Krieghoff purchases the machinery of Val. Chr. Schilling & Daly tubes shift from Krupp to Roechling, so post WWI or in the 1920s, the Lindner Subcontractors must have been getting their frames & tubes from Kreighoff???? This was after all the Principles had Passed, so I am not sure exactly who was @ the Helm of Charles Daly sourcing.

»Sempert & Krieghoff(Ludwig, Sr.) offered Roechling steel tubes, as did Merkel, and were possibly the only game in town for Roechling. Heinrich Krieghoff, Ludwig’s 2nd son, left S.&K. in 1916 to hang out his own shingle and by 1919 either completed the purchase of Val. Chr. Schilling’s(Albert, Moritz & Walter) tooling or purchased Schilling’s tooling. WWI had ended and so did H.A. Lindner’s handi-work. I’m sure his network fell to the wayside and someone at S, D & G along with a contact in Suhl had to keep it together. Lugwig Krieghoff, Sr. expired in 1924 and Heinrich Krieghoff brought S.& K. under his gun making umbrella but Sempert & Krieghoff/Krieghoff-Waffen may have continued until at least 10.10.1925 as per a catalogue. Schuler and S. & K. had a relationship earlier as Schuler sourced his Mauser’s from S. & K. and could have easily sourced tubes from S.&K. or Krieghoff-Waffen«
