Sad news. I talked with Bob several years ago about a .45-70 double rifle for hogs. He had one at the time he offered to sell me, but I never went forward with it. I went more "modern" because I realized I had a serious hog problem on my farmland.
My condolences to the family.

Very nice man, He called me once in response to a thread on another site , re a double rifle on a shotgun carcass....
i was able to fill him in on some facts he sought.....He sent me a very nice note in reply thanking me for the help.
I gathered that he Really enjoyed his gun work

RIP Bob. Like some others, Bob and I had another rifle planned for 2017. Now I shall have to settle for only one of his creations, the custom Simson mentioned above by Keith .
