I liked both of those powders as well. But Alliant had been very hard to get for far too long. If IRM/Hodgdon has the same powder then either Alliant will have to do a better job of meeting my needs or I will buy from someone else. I use more than a dozen powders already and about half of them is because I have had to find substitutes for PB, Alliant and even Hodgdon powders. If you can buy the same thing under two names I am happy, 296, 540 and several others come to mind.
Now if they just came out with a good 9.99K Winchester 209 or a good 12.00/25 lb. bag of shot I'd be happy.
