I don't understand why anyone would come out with any new powders. The powder situation has improved, but I still can't count on finding a specific powder locally. Hodgdon/IMR can't make enough of their current powders. I have seen only 1 new jug of Clays in the last 3 years. That jug belongs to a friend, not me. No one has any of these new IMR powders in stock, so we have to wait and see just how much shows up. The only powders that appear to be readily available are the single based Vectan powders. If I didn't have a healthy supply of the US branded products I would have switched to Vectan. I may do that as I deplete my reserves. I feel exactly zero allegiance to our domestic powder makers/suppliers.
