Gifts all around  Steve Culver successfully fabricated a pistol barrel using one of Peter Dyson's vintage tubes, which I have for Peter. More later when Steve has the whole shebang on his YouTube.

In St. George, Utah for the night. Good road conditions most of the way, with just a little ice near the Wyoming/Utah border. Up and at 'em early tomorrow. I'll look forward to seeing all.

Been on the road for a week visiting friends and relatives in California. Only bad part of the trip was I-84 in Oregon last Thursday. Ensconced at the Westgate now. With all the weather predicted the next few days, can't decide how to head home on Sunday.

Hope all those attending have a great time! Me, too. I had tentative plans to go this year, even checked on hotels, but when it comes down to it I am a hunter/shooter first, and there is still a little more than a week of duck season left. SRH

I echo Stan's sentiments exactly.... leave a week of a magnificent Quail season, and the Ducks end on the 29th, just to look at guns that probably won't serve me any better than those I have accumulated thus far..... I think not......Shooter first, fine gun connoisseur second.....
