LGS has one of these also 16ga that condition wise looks like it came straight out of factory shipping box. It has all the werks: sling swivels, cheek piece and tight chokes. One thing about the old ones that unlike modern standard production Merkels when found in minty condition they are easy to use and service ie. one does not need to strain or break it open over bent knee. Not sure it's worth $1500 they're asking, but you get whole lot more than US made field grade L.C.Smith, Strerlingworth, Parker,..... Anyhow, I could never get past the looks so I chose another double shotgun.
