OK, it was opening then it was not opening, now it is opening again, according to the radio message today. Apparently, it is happening soon.

Next Thursday is the Grand Opening. I heard there was some sort of lottery or whatever to get in the first day. Don't know if that is true or not, but that's what I heard.

I haven't been in that area for many many years. Lottery to get in? They would have to pay me to go there and deal with all that traffic. No thank you. Good luck fellas.

Maybe they're rounding up all the best guns from all the other Cabelas' stores to feature them in the new store's Library. If the prices were reasonable it might be worth a visit.

I've gotten a couple guns at Cabelas Library at a very good price but I worked there. When we sent guns out to a new store we generally sent the dogs that weren't moving. The guys here at this website are pretty knowledgeable so they have a leg up. Buying below the market can be done though it is not an easy or regular thing.

When one adds up time and effort spent going there few if any will be lucky enough to come out ahead. If I went I'm pretty sure the only thing I would come out with is couple gray boxes Herter's 16ga loads on sale for <$60/250. I'm pretty sure at rate of 99:1 that I would not come out with anything at good price from their Gun Library. As for the rest of the store I can buy stuff Hecho en Chinie someplace else.
