I was in my local WalMart yesterday & noticed they had about a half dozen boxes of 16's on the shelf. They were all Federals in two different loadings of #6 shot. The milder load had 1oz of shot @ 1165 fps @$7.97 s mbox. Heavier load was 1 1/8oz at 1265 fp[s I believe it was for $12. something. a box.
I also noted they had some Federal 12ga listed as heavy field load 3žDE-1žoz #5 (1220fps) These were around the same price as the lighter 16 load or close to #8.00 a box. .
