On national radio today, two serving Canadian soldiers described their tours in Afghanistan as "fun" and "enjoyable," "just watch your front and back" and they'd recommend it to anybody. One had both legs blown off.
They might as well have given the bomb to al Qaeda---and the majority of our citizens who don't think the dying and misery is a game. Could a coddled generation brought up on Nintendo think of war as a game?
