The wood seems pretty ordinary. Not sure what constitutes "non-fowling smooth oval bore SxS 500 Express". I can tell you that when Holland & Holland first reintroduced their Paradox gun they took it to Hungry for wild boar hunt. The article in British rifle magazine (cant remember which one) was not very kind to the product as they were not able to shoot anything on first day (target were running fast and too far away for iron only sights) they finally shot something on day two. This article was dressed up to make the weapon look better when published in American Double Gun Journal. What I see here is probably less practical than Holland Paradox or Westley Richards Fauneta. For $20,000 I would move on.
