Pakistan? Looks nice in photos. The first ones suffered broken stocks readily.

I love 1883's. Of course, I always tell everyone "Friends don't let friends buy Turkish shotguns." Pakistan? Makes me shiver. We'll see how they hold up in CAS shooting. The first guns coming in are short barreled for that sport. The top shooters quickly sort the wheat from the chaff. Too bad they are not made by Uberti. You are guaranteed the top of the line then.

I guess I'll stick to my Lindner featherweight.

Were you planning on using the Lindner for CAS?

Just kidding.

I don't CAS, but the owner's son of the shop I work in is 22 yr old and 8 time overall world champion. His dad is a past world champion and a CAS governor for a multistate area. So I hear all the CAS news and know all the guns that are used by the top tier of shooters...and all the guns that are NOT used.
Used: Rifles: Uberti 66/73's and pre-Remington Marlin 94's.
Handguns: Uberti SAA's (they also made all the parts for all third generation Colts), Ruger New Vaqueros (coil spring gives it a slight advantage over the Uberti.
In Wild Bunch: 1911 by STI, Mod 12 Win, Uberti 66/73/ pre-Remington Marlin 94's
Shotguns: depends on class but Browning single trigger double, SKB sts, Win 97, Win Mod 12

Unfortunate that Remington QA/QC has gone to hell.
