I would go one further: if a high-grade Greener was offered
without ebony inlays tucked away somewhere, I would immediately suspect a re-stock!
Its the subtle touches like that, hardly noticeable despite the expenditure of an enormous amount of skill and time, just because he
could, that elevated Greener's game and pigeon guns to a higher level than his competitors at the time. This is a big part of their appeal to the British shotgun cognoscenti today!
