Got them, thanks. They answered a couple of questions. One thing I noticed is Michael let the top plate or butt stop piece over hang the bottom piece. John Wilkes on the other hand built his exactly the opposite. I like Michael's better since it hides the felt and will also give me an overhang for the cork floating floor to fit under without having a baseboard. I also noticed that they used a 2" piece for the bottom board and a 1" for the cut out top plate.
