treblig you have me at a disadvantage that I can't put your name and face with your handle, but it does occur to me that, if I was serious about a Pedersoli, I would simply slim it down some and then refinish and rechecker. There are VERY nice rifles buried in side those things. You just have to patiently tease them out.

I wonder if anyone has done that?
