Besides PB branded guns these were also offered by Charles Daly and Orvis (as Waterfowler with fancier wood & straight grip). From practical point of view little separates this gun from BSS BLE equivalent B.C.Miroku, Winchester 23, Sakabas or Ithaca-Sakabas. I would take old Sakaba for little lighter weight and more favorable pricing. For example, LGS has Ithaca-SKB 12ga Model 280 in very good shape for asking price of $799. One could probably walk out with that for less as cash and carry. No lesser gun for less money spent. There is nothing wrong with Beretta GR-3.
