Gil, if we are going old, here's me building model planes from balsa, tissue and dope. 1969....48 years ago. Just above me to the right was my masterpiece....a Fokker DR.1 triplane. We flew them all using little .049 hp engines running alcohol. Not R/C but hand controls. We'd have dogfights with each other.
