Joe, the finest compositions of the old Masters are fingernails (the barrel denting kind) on a blackboard to Glentroll when faced with the choice of listening to them or clacketyclacking away on his keyboard gibbering nonsense.

Regarding the potential horrors of barrel denting, one thing is interesting to me: some people and their guns are like Pigpen in the Peanuts cartoon. They can hunt on a preserve with a brand new gun and after a few trips their guns are dented, dinged, scratched and look like a Missouri farmer's pickemuptruck.

Other people can brush bust a northern Michigan tag alder swamp for 3 days with a new gun and it looks better than it did when it came out of the box. Why is that?
