Geo.Newbern---No, I never went to Eibar Spain. I got there through trial and error, but my research put me there.
Geo. again----What brand gun ? It is stamped 'Falcon Model 137 Ranger. 12 gauge 2 3/4", but it is a 20 gauge. It is a 'meant to be hunted shotgun (low end), but a former Importer of Spanish shotguns said, "it still has 40 years in it to be hunted"---Mechanically sound. He valued the shotgun in a soft market. I was stunned, but value is incidental to my goal---The DARN journal is Priceless.
It has 3 sets of initials. An E.A. (or F.A.) on Rt under Barrel. This upset my applecart. I thought it was MAKER, Eusebio Arigaza. Now NF pops up in 2 spots. NF = Echave Arizmendi. Two spots may dictate the MAKER. I said 'MAY'. SZ under fore end = Sylvestri Zamacola.
