As long as we are into comparisons, let's not ignore the Miroku and Daly 500s. I have a Miroku 20ga/28" with DT, and a Daly 12ga/28" with an extra set of 30" Miroku barrels fitted. The Miroku 20 is prettier than the BSS 20, and it's lighter, but has a pistol grip rather then the Sporter's English grip. Same for the Daly 12 ga, but the difference in weight and balance is more noticeable on the 12s. All great values, and if you stumble across a Miroku or Daly while looking for a BSS, jump on it. My Miroku and Daly guns have 2-3/4" chambers as opposed to the BSS' 3" chambers, so that probably accounts for the weight/balance differences.
