I paid about $650 for mine about three years ago and it is in nearly as nice condition as yours. That was a good deal and I wouldn't sell it for that, but you get the idea. It's just not a $1500 gun. The NID is a fine gun, but they can be had for relative bargains compared to most other quality makes. Maybe that's why I'm a fan of them.
