Been having a ball blowing up terracotta turtledoves with this glossy, Hefner-era gravel-thrower. Better scores every time out. Modified seems to work just fine, if I hit em just as they leave the trap.

The crosspin thats been drifting... Its the lowest, rearmost pin on the action, the one directly over the front of the trigger guard. I plan to Loctite it and let it set once the snow starts flying. But heres another question: Will I need to detail-strip and degrease the action for that to have a good chance of working? Or will local cleaning of the pin and its bearing holes suffice?
