I've added more pictures to the link. I took it apart and took pictures of the proofing marks. Please let me know if you need more info! Facebook

Indeed Belgian & passed thru the Liege proof facility in 1927 as it wears a small "f". 16 bore w/ short 65mm(2 1/2") chambers. Looks like it was made by a mechanic who used the stamp of a DF w/ an arrow / a sword thru it.

I forgot to note that the trademark of DF w/ an arrow/ a sword thru it that of Dumoulin Frères who filed for protection on 12.08.1881(August 12th) as Dumoulin Frères, Boulevard de la Sauvenière, 89 in Liege.

Ok, I have a question! If his gun was made in 1927, how did the mechanic file for protection in 1881? Or he filed for protection 46 years before he made the gun?
Great info y'all! Thank you so much for your help. How common are these guns? How much would you ask to sell it for? Not that I'm selling it, I'm just curious.

Well, more than likely there a couple generations of Brothers Dumoulin so possibly a father filed for trademark protection in 1881. Then his son or nephew was the supervisor over these 1927 examples.

I understand! Thank you Raimey! Do you know how much it would be worth?
