One of my resolutions this year is to get serious about patterning my shotguns. I'd like to remove at least some human error from the equation and maybe save my shoulder some pain by stabilizing the guns on a bench. I see products like the Caldwell Lead Sled https://www.walmart.com/ip/Caldwell-Lead-Sled-Plus-Shooting-Rest/17688504 designed to hold guns steady and absorb recoil. Most of the applications tend to be rifles and single barrel shotguns. Anyone have experience using this or something similar with side-by-sides? Also, anyone tried this IPone shotgun patterning app? https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/shotgun-profiler/id948524943?mt=8 Looks like a pretty quick and easy way to get a lot of info on your patterns.
Thanks!
Bill
