Once again, you demonstrate your ignorance Jagermeister. My reply to eightbore's comment was meant to illustrate that a 12 bore site inhabited by people like you would include just about anything but actual 12 gauge topics. In case you didn't notice, this here is a double gun forum. It is not a Model 12 or Mossberg 500 pump forum. It is not a Browning A-5 or Remington 1100 Autoloader forum. It is not the 16 ga.com forum where any 16 gauge topics about all 16 ga. guns and loads are appropriate. You must know this because you even promised Ted that you would not troll non-double crap here. But you can't stop yourself. Do you post 10, 12, 20, and 28 gauge or .410 topics and loading data on the 16 ga.com forum? I wouldn't be surprised if you do, even though you don't reload, and probably don't even own any guns at all. But since you don't own even one lousy double gun, I'm just curious about your pathetic need to post here and to post comments about guns you have zero actual experience with... beyond perhaps drooling on them at your local gun shop. You ask me questions, and I give you a reply. I ask you these same questions over and over, and you ignore them and continue to troll frequently dishonest and non-doublegun crap. And that creepy post you made in the middle of a bunch of condolence messages in the "Charleton Hall Auction" thread shows just how mentally disturbed you are. Jagermeister's sick message to a grieving father who lost a child. Post #493278

For me, when hunting, having most of my doubles chambered in 12 gauge helps keep things simple in my strap vest at first. Unfortunately, by the end of the season my vest is full of 12 gauge shells in a variety of pellet sizes, as well as a smattering of 16 and 20 gauge shells.
It's a mess.
If all of my guns were 12s, it would be a BIT less chaotic. But I suppose what would be the fun in that? Variety is the spice of life as they say. However, that said, I would totally join the 12 gauge club! Now if they could just figure out a way to make a lithe 12 gauge as svelte as a tiny 20, I would be sold for good...

A 2" 12 ga @ slightly over 6 lbs would be fun.
Brittany Man, The British 2" gun was built to be well under 6 lbs. You can always shoot 2" shells in a 6 lb 2.5" gun. It should pattern about the same. Ken

I like the idea of the perfect gauge and in my head, it's a 16. So I have a few that I really enjoy. But before I can get too carried away with that idea....I pick up one of my 12's and I love them. I suppose it comes down to each gun and it's own merits. Although I'd never own one of those 20 gauge abominations!

Ken I don't find 2 1/2" 12 ga guns w/28" bbls that weigh 6 lbs very plentiful, most 2 1/2" 12 ga guns are around 6 lb 4 oz or a little more & the 2" Britt guns that weigh <6 lbs feel a little "whippy" to me. About 10 years ago, I had on approval a used 2" 12 ga Arrieta w/ 28" bbls that New England Arms had imported that was around 6 lbs & IMHO handled nicely but I returned it to the seller it because the right bbl shot about a full pattern to the left @ 20 yds. Looked to me like a major dent had been removed from the right bbl. Nice gun otherwise & would have made dandy grouse & woodcock gun if the right bbl had shot where it was supposed to. I was impressed with how well the 2" RST 7/8 oz 7 1/2 loads patterned.

As per normal, Keith, ever yourself Thanks for noticing Gladys. And the same goes for you. You always seem to rise up to defend the anti-gun trolls in our midst, don't you? Tell me, what did you think of your pal Jagermeister's condolence message? Personally, I think he and the other anti-gun troll Ed Good would have been better off to do like you did and just say nothing at all to the grieving father. Maybe you can teach THEM about manners.
