For me, when hunting, having most of my doubles chambered in 12 gauge helps keep things simple in my strap vest at first. Unfortunately, by the end of the season my vest is full of 12 gauge shells in a variety of pellet sizes, as well as a smattering of 16 and 20 gauge shells.

It's a mess.

If all of my guns were 12s, it would be a BIT less chaotic. But I suppose what would be the fun in that? Variety is the spice of life as they say. However, that said, I would totally join the 12 gauge club! Now if they could just figure out a way to make a lithe 12 gauge as svelte as a tiny 20, I would be sold for good...
