Gas is cheaper than bottled water from France or Fiji (or Fuji?) poor quality food is inexpensive.....no problemos anticipated in society divided. Those in power have little to fear from the electorate when the divided can be easily distracted by something minor, inconsequential in leu of showing any meaningful accomplishments from the elected. Latest example was the kneeling of some athletes during the playing of the National Anthem before start of ball games. People in "bunker one" wanted to raise awareness of certain issues in their community the people in the "bunker two" were lead to believe their actions were unpatriotic and unacceptable. Why bother going to the trouble of obtaining a real worm or grasshopper to catch a pumpkinseed fish durning spawning season when piece of candy foil on a hook will do? I do not want to move anywhere unless I have to. It will be interesting to see when the electorate will go into the streets after realizing that simple act of voting will not bring the change they deserve and want.

So can we assume that you will be one of the Liberals who plan to "scream helplessly at the sky" on the one-year anniversary of the 2016 election?

We will see how it works out. Sooner or later one has to go and pay into a system where the government official work and function to serve needs of their people through wise resource management. The other side of the coin is the electorate has to have reasonable expectations of government officials given resources at hand ie. no two cakes left after the only cake available was eaten.
Dont worry if you have enough assets when the system truly deteriorates you might be able to reside in a "Green Zone(s)" or if you prefer "Enhanced Security Zone(s)". The less well to do will live outside those zones. Frankly I don't think mere 'screaming' will be enough.
