And never a tie.
I do, however, lust after the 'field bar' from Kevin's Catalog.
THAT is style.
My field bar is a Zippo flask and a Welcome to Lima! (OH) shot glass I got at the Flying J _____________________ Thats MY style.

The "nicest" cleaning kit I own is one that was given to me many years ago. I believe they were sold by Parker-Hale. It consists of a three piece cleaning rod with very nice brass ferrules, a really good big brass jag, a good bore brush, Rangoon Oil (man, it smells good), a bore mop, cleaning patches and a lubricating oil (can't remember the name). It was a gift from a shooting friend once upon a time. Looks kinda like this, plus the oils. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Classic-Shotgun-Cleaning-Kit-by-Parker-Hale-12-Gauge-Bore-/391554742343 SRH
May God bless America and those who defend her.

Hey all, I'm looking for a good quality shotgun cleaning kit for my sons Christmas gift. Need a good one, not the cheap ones you can get any place.
Can you direct me to one?
Thanks so much!
Greg Bought nice one made of rose wood from Beretta Gallery in NYC. I sold it along with limited edition Ruger Red Label 28ga I used to own. Nice thing to have is Otis pull through for shotguns I use it in my Remington 1100 for superficial clean through.

Neither classy nor classic, but I like the BoreBlitz pullthroughs sold by NECG. Loaded up with Balistol, seems to get my bores clean faster and easier than rods, brushes, patches, etc. Have them in 20, 16, and 12. https://www.newenglandcustomgun.com/gun_services/BoreBlitz.asp

He's not asking for the best way to clean a shotgun or how to clean a shotgun, he knows that already.
He just wants a real nice cleaning set to give as a Christmas present.
