I have been breaking in my 1972 Browning Superposed Pigeon Super Light Weight 12 gauge that I recently acquired in unfired condition. It's not unfired anymore. With Skt/Skt chokes, it has made a dandy dove gun. My son has a field grade 1968 Super Light Weight that I got him and we both enjoy these guns. They each weigh 6# 8oz.
The band is there on the wood, whether finish or wood or whatever, I really can't tell. To tell the truth, it wasn't until I saw the picture that I realized it was there.-Dick
