Dove in a a stiff wind, ducks in a fog are fun, black ducks in low clouds are great. Weather can make hunting more fun not just less. I shot dove one year out of a goose pit, when the season overlapped and it was cold as heck with a 25 mph tail wind. Got a full limit, 12 at that time, from a goose pit in between geese working. Killed three geese and one duck, all out of a pit on my farm. That was when we had duck, dove and goose season which ran until January 31. No so these days. That would be a great afternoon to relive again.
