A friend who attends the state trap shoots told me about it seeing how he knew I bend stocks for myself. He also said there was no guarantee about breakage. I heat mine with heat lamps and oil and it takes longer than a hour. Just reread my first post. I shouldn't have said " in a hour or two " because my friend only implied it was done quickly. My question to him was about through bolt guns seeing how I've only done old SxS's without a through bolt. If some are doing modern trap guns I would think they doing all types of finishes.
