I doubt it's pineapple marking. I suspect it's corn on a cob with leaves pulled back exposing kernels. These marks are easy to confuse. For example, not long ago I examined single-action Strum & Ruger revolver chambered in 10x25mm. I spotted cute little cannabis leaf mark engraved on top strap. The salesman told me it was chestnut leaf as the gun was made for some company in Ohio where they like buckeyes. crazy
