I'll try but you understand that the location of the smith that does the work, has to be factored in the estimate. So--- Add or subtract as you consider this.

Strip, clean and check for broken or missing parts. $135
De-oil stock and glas the head if needed. $25 if done at home.
replace Husky plate with new horn. $50/65 but not necessary here.
Make new spring if replacement is necessary and available. $75/100
Remove ejectors if not functioning and cannot be repaired. $0 as this is easy and can be done at home.The gun will then be an extractor one.
If patterns are needed for parts, I will be happy to help. A thank you will be enough.
It should be possible to apply a bit of sweat equity and $350/500 to bring it to a safe condition if all is as described
At that asking price, it would be then well worth $1200/1400.
You all know what I think of Lindner guns. But, see my post on worth vs value. There are millions of worthy shooters out there.
There are few that would be worth putting more money than a gun's ultimate value.
Perhaps someone will buy this one, for the asking, and do the deed. Pride of ownership of a rare and great gun I can understand. What befuddles me is the thought that I would have to pass over a great miniature decoy to pay for it.:}
Hope this helps.
Best,
John
EDIT----- I meant that after the gun was brought to safe and good shooting condition, it still would be worth a grand less than the present asking price. If brought to glorious cosmetic and mechanical condition, about a bit more than the present asking. It is, after all, an ejector gun and built by one of the great masters of all time and place.
