When taken in context with the rest of the discussion the quotes here from Brent are badly misrepresented, and I am sure you understand that!

Years ago I got "published" load data from BPI, I could tell they were over pressure, so stopped using them, later I got an email from them telling me to not use any of that data!

My point, each time you use any load data you are taking a leap of faith, and I suspect the same holds true about any loads you may send in for testing, nothing is infallible!

So just stop reloading and only use factory loads...oh wait I have gotten over pressure factory loads to (If you can't feel it with your shoulder, or hear it with your ear, well then you have no business owning a shotgun), not every country follows SAMMI standards!

An email from Precision Reloading says that their Bismuth shot is 98% Bi and 2% "other". What this means, I am not sure, but BPI said at least 6% Sn is needed to get a round pellet, so take that into consideration. PR is, by a substantial margin, the more expensive Bi shot.
