It probably depended on the importer. My last Bernardelli was an early 80's Roma 6E from Quality Arms. 20 gauge. 2 3/4" Weighed 5-14 before I modified it with pad and long tang, triggerguard. It was my primary bird gun for 18 years and I still wonder why I sold it.

It was also interesting that from '67 to '72 the price went up from $140 to $200. Bernie's are one of the true sleepers on the market, high quality and well balanced. And the hammer guns don't have he mainsprings made from the rear leaf of a '54 Buick. cocking both hammers is very do able.

Mark, that was a time of significant price increases in the gun business. It wasn't long, post-1972, when the SKB's had become pricey enough that Ithaca stopped importing them.
