Obsessed w Doubles, Inane and often irrelevant posts are bothersome. While it is possible to point out errors less offensively, some choose more aggressive methods.
I have argued in the past for civility without much effect, I may do so again in the future, but not now. Free speech to act as rude, inane or as stupid as you wish is the free speech rule of this board.
If you are consistently offended by a poster you may ignore them, using the function provided. Unfortunately.... I think keith has a good point, oc. He has many interesting thoughts, but if owd's doesn't like your political leanings, he'll let you have it in personal ways, if the mood strikes. My opinion differs a bit from you in that I think free speech is being tossed around inappropriately.

Thanks for the support craigd. And since this is Sunday, I think we should be extra nice and forgive Old Colonel for his thread diversion.
Since OC has been shopping for Model 21's recently, perhaps he can share his findings on prices for them over the past decade or so... just to get us back on topic, and away from Obsessed With Obama's hypocritical vitriol.

Knock yourself out Old Colonel... but before you waste more of your time, I'd like to ask you... in a most polite and civilized manner... to consider the source. What I mean by "consider the source" is to consider who you are responding to. I was not the least bit surprised to see Obsessed With Doubles taking his feigned offense at my comments about Jagermeister's useless commentary. Why? Well, if you were more familiar with OWD, you would know that he is a petty little hypocrite and another of our ardent supporters of Liberal Left anti-gun Democrats. In fact, I prefer to call him Obsessed With Obama. The only people he is concerned about leaving this forum is his fellow FUDD's and Libtards. It's too bad he couldn't live up to his vow to leave, like his cohort Last Dollar. In fact, this is about the point where he typically jumps in with his two pesos. If I, or anyone else had been critical of DaveK, craigd, JamesM, or any other Conservative, his (Obsessed With Obama's) panties would get wet. I just thought you might be interested in full disclosure before you decide to begin round three. Things are not always as plain as they seem. You are correct Keith that I should consider the source, I did consider it and his uncivil approach. Just as I show you, our boards number one self appointed monitor consideration. You seem to take personal offense at anyone who fails your political litmus test and thus seem to believe you are both empowered and obligated to go after them in spades. When someone sets a standard for incivility, they should not be surprised by the atmosphere. It is a free speech board, not a civil board as you regularly demonstrate. As for the supposed flat market, I have voiced my opinion on the long and short term market before in other breads and doubt anything new or useful needs to be added by me. BTW I traded for my M21 not purchased and the price paid is awfully subjective. Not having watched the prices of Model 21 Guns very hard I dont have an opinion on them specifically over the last 10. I will try to post a nice picture from my test outing with it yesterday. Added picture, though I cannot seem to rotate properly for appearances. A rare(at least for me) eastern Kansas pheasant

old colonel, nice gun, and what a great beginning with it. Pheasants may be rare in your area, but we're more likely to see a Kalifornia Kondor than a native ringneck in my state these days. I checked out your Model 21 in your previous link. From your description, it may need a little sprucing up, but didn't seem at all abused, and I don't think I've ever seen a buttstock with such intense fiddleback grain. The pic you posted here doesn't do it justice. We do seem to have a minor difference of opinion about what brought on your earlier thread diversion. You appear to think I had shown some incivility toward Obsessed With Obama when I hadn't even mentioned him or his unfettered support for anti-gun Liberal Left Democrats in quite some time. I can't recall exactly, but I believe it was during one of his attacks on our PRO-GUN PRESIDENT TRUMP during the 2016 campaign. I certainly was not at all surprised by his incivility. Nor was I surprised by his selective, feigned, and hypocritical outrage. I'm certain that he has never forgiven me for this observation from 2013 after our host took exception to Obsessed With Obama's use of his site without the customary consideration. I was kind of hoping that you had been watching Model 21 prices for a longer time period and had some idea of pricing trends. But I also like the way Dr. Buzz is thinking about his recent purchase. It does reflect my own thinking. I hope you are right Keith. I just bought a 2-barrel set that I clearly dont need, but couldnt pass it up, even though it was a 12 bore. Its a quality gun, something that would cost an absolute fortune to have made today. Im happy with it....I guess thats what matters most. Amen buzz!
