Hello new to the site and looking for some information. I may have a chance to own the aforementioned shotgun. The information I'm looking for is what type of shell I can shoot in this shotgun. I have read post after post and page after page trying to find some straight up facts on this. Some folks say no "high brass 2 3/4 shells" and some folks say that that type of shell is ok to shoot. When I say "high brass" I'm talking about something like Remington Long Range Express or Winchester Super Xs. I have used these shell for years in 12 and 20ga shotguns mostly for rabbit and squirrel hunting. I don't bird hunt much.Dove every now and then.I know that the NID was an improved and strengthened shotgun over the Flues models. I know that RST and some other companies make shells that are lower pressure and would have no problem buying those types of shells.It would be easier to buy them from Wal Mart or my local gun store. So if anybody has some information on this subject I would love to hear it.
