Is this even worth considering? I have one tournament grade 20 gauge with straight grip double triggers and ejectors. (The way God intended doubles to be) HOWEVER, my first 21 bought 35 years ago to be my "perfect" duck gun before steel shoot forced me to a BPS, only has I trigger. I have been invited to shoot at Beaver Dam next week and since I don't have a super fox thought my 21 Duck similar to Nash's Award Gun would be the best could do. Had not shot it in over 20 years so took it out for a few clays this pm. Shooting went from bad to tolerable but kept searching for second trigger. I know Cole will convert 1 trigger to 2 on Barettas (only reason I have bought my last two O/U's. Does anyone do this for 21's?

Someone may do this for 21's, but no one should do this to 21's.

There are Super Foxes on the market, a depressed market by the way. There are also double trigger Model 21s on the market.

Someone may do this for 21's, but no one should do this to 21's. Agree on this one, Bob. Double trigger conversion on a 21 is a bad idea. Just learn to shoot the single trigger, like you do on a pump or semi-auto. Better for gloved hands anyway. Go shoot 4 or 5 rounds of 5-stand with your 21 and you'll be ready to go. I've never understood what is so difficult about going between single and double triggers. I've been doing it for 40 years without any problems. JR

I purchased this gun with the money I saved from quiting cigarettes in the spring of '83 I do not wish to sell it but I also have no desire to purchase another. I just wondered if it was something that did not require "major surgery" similar to a Baretta.

The only way to do it without major surgery is to source all of the double trigger parts and not alter your trigger plate. You might check with Mid West gun parts or Galazan. If you come up with the parts it can be done.

It is not a minor thing to do. Not like changing a trigger group in your favorite semi auto. It can be done but most would find the expense not worth the effort. Funny thing is that when you are trying to trade a two trigger 21, to a dealer they will always mark it down in price l. because it has two triggers but when you are buying that same gun from the dealer the two triggers are a rare and desirable feature.

I suggest you just shoot it some more, Tyler. That single trigger will become natural to you.
Like John R., I switch back and forth all the time with no conscious thought. It just takes a little shooting to get used to it the first time.

I was going to offer to sell you a nice double trigger 21, but you say you don't want any more guns. I wouldn't shoot anything but a Fox in that blind anyway.
