I've still got about a flat's worth of 1 ounce 16's left. Had 12 gauge 1 ounce in the past. For both, and like other posters, I have found recoil to be a bit sharper than expected given the loads. I became a little selective about which gun I will use them in....only ones that have had the stocks refinished and glass bedded and I only use them actually hunting now.
Much prefer the RST offerings, now that I can get them in Canada.
I've run a bunch of them through a Fox 16 that is in good condition. Handled it with ease. I just didn't like the recoil for the load.
. Plus 1 on the RST 2 12" stuff. I have used it in 12,16 and 20 for 15 years.
