Yep, if the pic on Google Earth was taken in winter it would show up much better. It is so long and narrow that the big oaks hang 1/2 to 2/3 over it, when the sap rises and they leaf out. Roughly 1000 yds. to the south/southeast of my home.

Lot of memories in that place. There was a group of piebald deer that used it for a few years. I don't think I ever shot one of them ......... they were small and none had good racks ......genetic throwbacks. Haven't seen one of them in 20+ years. Once I bragged that I could kill a gobbler with my .36 cal. M/L rifle at 80 yds. Some friends from Kentucky came and three of us went one morning. We called up a very big gobbler who was putting on a show in the field while we were backed up to three big trees along the edge. I drew down on him, while he was in strut, squeezed it off, and he abruptly flew off. I kept listening for him to crash to earth, which he never did. I just knew I was on him good when the trigger broke, but I wasn't accounting for the "strut factor". I walked out to the scene of the crime and found two breast feathers that the round ball had cut from his breast, just grazing him, but not mortally. That was quite a humbling experience. God just won't let this old boy get by with boasting.
